From growth to abandonment
In the second half of the 20th century the owners change from the State Monopolies Authority, to the Italian Tobacco Board to the BAT (British American Tobacco), each carryng out additional construction works until the completion and subsequent restructuring of the area: the changes and evolution of the global tobacco market and the withdrawal of the Italian State intervention in industrial activities, led to a steady reduction in business.
