LEONARDO arrives at the Tecnopolo Manifattura - Data Valley Hub
In the month of July, the first two trucks of the High Performance Computing (HPC) Supercomputer arrived. An investment of 240 million Euros co-funded by EuroHPC Joint Undertaking and MIUR, and managed by CINECA. LEONARDO has 5,000 servers, 157 racks for a total of 360,000 kilograms in weight and more that 156km of cables and will supply 10 times the power of computing than the current Cineca Marconi100 system, making it one of the 5 most powerful HPCs in the world.
